How the heart works❤️

In science, we are learning how the heart works. The children really enjoyed learning all the scientific names and mapping a heart out on the body.

Gardening day🌸

This week, at MJS, we held our annual 'Gardening Day'. Thanks to all the parents who came to help sort our garden out.

Fidget Spinner Frenzy!⨕

After starting a fidget spinner investigation at the beginning of term, we finally created our spinners. We used thick card for the frame, coins for the weights and a tooth pick for the axis. Click here to watch the tutorial that we followed.

Sing like an Egyptian𓀽

This term, in music, we have the pleasure of having Mrs. Baker teach our music lessons. As our topic is Egypt, the lessons have been Egyptian inspired and we have been learning how to create Egyptian styled sounds and ambience.

A Look Inside👀

Our focus in science is animals including humans. We used an app called 'Virtual Tee' to see how our organs work. We got to prod and poke, go inside and really understand how our bodies function.

Oompa Loompa Gone Wrong!🤦🏽‍♂️

Our Day Oompa-Loompa cake pops. The first image shows what they should have looked like, and the second image shows how they turned out. I think Mr. Adams and Mr. Kaye need some help in the kitchen. On the plus side, they tasted amazing!

A huge thanks to the #BeInternetLegends team from Google for delivering an amazing assembly on online safety.
