Road Safety🛣

Mrs Brian led a whole-school assembly about the importance of 'Road Safety'. Please remind your children about the importance of crossing the road safely, especially due to the dark evenings.  For more information, visit

Christingle service⛪️

We had a lovely afternoon at our Christingle. Thank you to everybody who joined us. What a nice end to our first term!

(30/11/18), we held our annual Christmas tree decorating assembly. The theme this year is ‘Twelve days of Christmas’.

Showing our respect❤️

We decorated the front of our school with poppies to show respect for those who fought for our country.

Year 6 had a fabulous trip to Robinwood in Wrexham on 15th -18th October. They took part in a wide variety of activities including caving, climbing, canoeing and zip wire. Well done to all of them for pushing their boundaries and being great team players.  The staff who went thoroughly enjoyed spending time with the children.

Dissecting Hearts

On Friday, Year 5 and 6 dissected a cow's heart. We did this as it links to our current science topic: Animals including humans. Previously, we have learnt about the features of a heart and a how a blood cell travel through it.

Garden Day

The children worked really hard cleaning up the garden for Garden Day. They helped Mr Palfrey and now the garden is in a useable state. The children thoroughly enjoyed themselves and are excited to do some outdoor learning in the garden.
